My very first post

Finally got the motivation to jump on the blog bandwagon and I feel pretty cheesy in admitting that I watched Julie & Julie this weekend. So here goes. This will be my own lovely corner of cyberspace to rave and rant about everything that I care or don't care about- from fashion (ugh so cliche, but my vision for this is definitely not to become the next bryanboy or Garance) to books, tennis and the huge entrepreneurial project that a friend and I have in the works. This blog will be a catalog of the blood, sweat and tears that are going into our new business venture and will be a complete archive to look back to after one, two, three years of hard work. Hopefully it will be an inspiration to future young female entrepreneurs armed with a plan and enough ambition.

I also look forward to including quirky thrift finds, art and design around Miami- I promise the city doesn't 100% deserve the douche bag rap it's gotten from reality shows. It's also filled with wonderful, creative people, delicious restaurants, good stores and dark bars.
